Extra Curricular Activities
Children have the opportunity to take part in a variety of voluntary school activities, these currently include multiskills and football which are provided by external sports coaches. Art and dance are also part of our after school activities.
School Visits
Your child will have the opportunity to go on a number of visits whilst at the school. Visits are based on curriculum topics and could be to museums or facilities such as the Boxmoor Trust.
School Journey
It has become traditional for children in years 6 to enjoy a residential stay; the trip is a valued highlight of the children’s time at Oakleaf Primary School.

Clubs
Each term a series of Lunchtime and After School Extracurricular clubs are made available to pupils for a small fee. A clubs letter is sent out in advance and parents sign up via Arbor. The clubs will run for the whole term and children who sign up are expected to attend for the term.
Spring Term clubs begin Monday 16th January. Clubs running after school finish at 4.20pm.

Additional lunchtimes clubs are also available to pupils run by school staff, such as

- story club
Rock band is available via Rock Steady who visit each week.
Homework club is run by Teachers on Tuesdays from 3.20pm to 3.50pm for pupils to complete their homework, parents sign up via the form on the newsletter.
Music
Extra-curricular music lessons are available to pupils in school, provided by Dacorum Music School and RockSteady. Sign up by contacting the suppliers direct.
