Pupil Premium Information
The Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) is a Government initiative designed to narrow the attainment gap between economically disadvantaged pupils and their peers. The additional funding is allocated to the school to provide support for children from low income families to ensure they make good progress and achieve the expected attainment.
This money can be used for provision and resources to directly support these children or indirectly through releasing time for teachers to provide small group support. Money may also be used to support children at risk of not meeting the national age related expectations at the end of Key Stage 2.
A review of Pupil Premium spending will be carried out annually to reflect spending within each academic year.
